Panasonic battery for camcorderSeptember 1, 2010 W. McReynolds We bought a high capacity battery only to discover you need an external cartridge holder and cord to connect to the actual camera. Too bad that was not described more fully. So this battery is a duplicate of the one you get with the camcorder. It plugs directly into the camera. It has less usable record time and that is a disappointment. We prefer to have at least two batteries in case we cannot get to a charger each evening. Otherwise this battery performs as advertised.
Caveat EmptorAugust 20, 2010 Don Moore The Amazon page for this battery contained information which indicated it worked with the Panasonic SDR-H85. This is incorrect. In addition..for some reason...Amazon did not give me a complete refund for the returned item (which is a first). Recommend you double check information to ensure you are purchasing a compatible battery pack.
got to have it.June 12, 2010 Daven Bui I have used this battery for over two months. You can't go wrong with an original battery. This battery fits perfectly and last much longer than the battery that come with the camera. Get a spare battery for your trip.
